ABOUT THE ROLE
North Co Commercial Cleaning is hiring one window cleaner for a national home goods retailer's Greenwich store. This is steady, recurring work — same schedule every month. Store name and full details are released after onboarding.
This is NOT a Monday–Friday job. This is once a month, on a Sunday. It's a great side gig with consistent recurring income, and as we add more locations in the area, our reliable cleaners are always the first ones we call for additional work.
THE JOB
- $60 flat per visit
- Once a month, Sunday at 10:00 AM — next visit Sunday, September 20
- Average time on site: 45 minutes–1 hour (could be a little less or a little more depending on experience and getting a system down after the first couple visits)
- Effective hourly: roughly $60–$80/hr
- All supplies are already at the store — nothing to bring
THE WORK
Interior and exterior storefront glass — entry door glass inside and out, street-facing windows, polish handles and door plates, remove spider webs, wipe frames and ledges, remove gum and tape, squeegee and detail all edges and corners, wipe sills dry. Detailed checklist provided after onboarding.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 21 or older
- Real scrubber-and-squeegee window experience required — spray-and-wipe does not qualify
- Reliable personal transportation (rideshare/transit doesn't qualify)
- Reliability is everything: same day every month, 48 hours' notice for any change. No-shows are the one thing that ends this relationship.
PAY & HOW IT WORKS
- $60 flat per visit
- Check in and out through a link, upload before/after photos and videos — this is how payment is confirmed
- Pay lands 24–48 hours after the job is completed and confirmed to manager satisfaction
- Parking reimbursed only with a full receipt (date, time in/out, place, total)
DRESS CODE
Slip-resistant shoes recommended. Clean plain blue or black shirt, jeans or non-athletic shorts — nothing ripped, no sweatpants. Hair tied back, arrive presentable.
PHOTOS & CHECK-OUT
Before/after photos and videos every visit through your check-in link — non-negotiable, more is better. Full walkthrough with the store manager before you leave.
